In line with the date it was founded in 1970, the International Society of Prosthetics and Orthotics (ISPO) is launching the first International Prosthetics and Orthotics Day on November 5. Its aim is to highlight and raise awareness of the importance of O&P devices and the need to provide further resources to ensure equitable and appropriate access to O&P services, including policies on provision (financing), products (components and material), personnel, and related therapy.
