Job Description

Pet Ortho Braces | Phoenix Metro Area, AZ | Full-Time

Trade the Waiting Room for Wagging Tails
Are you a certified orthotist who lights up around animals? Do you want to take the clinical skills you’ve built treating human patients and apply them to one of the most rewarding, fastest-growing frontiers in rehabilitation medicine? Pet Ortho Braces is looking for a Clinical Orthotist to evaluate, design, and fit custom orthotic braces for dogs—helping them run, play, and live pain-free.

There’s nothing quite like watching a dog take confident steps in a custom brace you designed — or seeing the relief on an owner’s face when they realize their best friend is getting their mobility back. If that sounds like the kind of work that would get you out of bed in the morning, keep reading.

Who We Are

Pet Ortho Braces is a leader in custom canine orthotics and a driving force in advancing the field of animal rehabilitation. Our reputation speaks for itself: 100% of our Google reviews are 5-star ratings, and we’ve built a strong clinical following among veterinarians and rehab professionals who trust us with their patients. We’re growing rapidly — and we’re looking for the right person to grow with us.

What You’ll Do

  • Evaluate, design, and fit custom orthotic braces for dogs at our Phoenix-area clinics
  • Work directly with animal clients (primarily dogs) and their owners, under the supervision of our Chief Clinical Officer
  • Collaborate with veterinarians and vet techs to achieve the best possible outcomes for every patient
  • Conduct brace demonstrations for pet owners, veterinarians, and veterinary teams to help grow the business and expand awareness of canine orthotic care
  • Train and develop directly with our founder — a 30-year veteran in prosthetics, orthotics, and canine rehabilitation
  • Assist in the design and fabrication of custom braces to ensure optimal outcomes for each client.

Who You Are

  • A certified orthotist (ABC or BOC) with 2+ years of experience treating human patients
  • Someone with a genuine love of animals and a strong desire to expand into animal rehabilitation. Experience with animal prosthetics or orthotics is a plus!
  • A clinician with a solid grasp of clinical techniques and the principles of orthotic design and function
  • A lifelong learner with a growth mindset who wants to help advance an emerging, innovative field
  • A natural collaborator who enjoys working alongside veterinarians toward shared clinical goals
  • Someone with excellent bedside — make that dogside — manner, with both four-legged patients and their humans
  • Located in (or willing to relocate to) the Phoenix metro area, where our clinics are based

Why You’ll Love It Here

  • Deeply rewarding work. Every fitting changes a dog’s life — and their family’s
  • An upbeat, positive work environment where the patients greet you with tail wags
  • A rapidly growing field with tremendous room for professional growth and the opportunity to help shape the future of animal rehabilitation
  • Mentorship that money can’t buy: hands-on training and development with a founder who has three decades of experience in prosthetics, orthotics, and canine rehab
  • A company with real momentum: industry leadership, an outstanding customer reputation, and a loyal clinical following
