Are you a skilled maker who’s happiest with your hands on tools and materials — and who happens to love dogs? Pet Ortho Braces is looking for an Orthotics & Prosthetics (O&P) Technician to fabricate and customize orthotic braces and prosthetics for our animal patients, primarily dogs. Every device you build helps a dog walk, run, and play again — and there’s nothing quite like seeing your craftsmanship put a wag back in a tail.

What You’ll Do

• Fabricate and repair orthotic and prosthetic devices to our standards of quality, fit, and function
• Work with the full range of materials and equipment used in modern O&P fabrication to build and customize braces and prosthetics
• Collaborate closely with our company president and certified prosthetist/orthotist (CPO) to ensure the best outcomes for every patient
• Assist with ordering, receiving, and inventory tasks as assigned
• Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly shop environment
• Stay organized and juggle multiple projects in a fast-paced, growing operation

Who You Are

• A hands-on builder with experience using power tools in shop or manufacturing environments
• Familiar with the properties of materials used in orthotics and prosthetics (or a fast learner eager to master them)
• A resourceful problem-solver who takes pride in quality workmanship
• Someone with a genuine love of animals and a passion for helping them regain mobility and quality of life
• Organized, adaptable, and comfortable multitasking in a busy shop
• Minimum of a high school diploma or GED; relevant life experience is encouraged

No O&P background? No problem. We welcome candidates from manufacturing, the automotive industry, engineering, military service, the arts, and other hands-on trades. If you can build with skill and care, we can teach you the rest.
