Limbitless Solutions, founded and based at the University of Central Florida (UCF), received an Inno Fire Blazer Award from The Orlando Business Journal. Twenty-five local companies were recognized for their innovation, growth, and impact in the region.

Limbitless Solutions took the top Blazer award in the Established Players category (businesses in operation eight to ten years). It was established in 2014 by UCF students to help a local boy who needed a prosthetic arm. In 2021 Limbitless Solutions generated more than $1 million, is preparing for a pediatric clinical trial partnership with Orlando Health Arnold Palmer, and moved into a 6,000-square-foot facility, tripling its size. The company has also presented to the United Nations several times to discuss inclusivity and the role technology can play.
“It was an honor to represent the culture of innovation here at UCF,” said Albert Manero, PhD, Limbitless Solutions’ president and cofounder. “Our team is thrilled to see the growth of the program as we prepare to expand our impact through new clinical trials.”
