The National Commission on Orthotic and Prosthetic Education (NCOPE) called for nominations to its board of directors. The deadline for nominations is August 31.
Class 1 positions are for certified orthotists and/or prosthetists who are in good standing with the American Board of Certification for Orthotics, Prosthetics, and Pedorthics and whose practice is a member of the American Orthotics and Prosthetics Association or who is an individual member of the American Academy of Orthotists and Prosthetists. Class 2 positions are for representatives from O&P academic institutions (program directors, faculty, or administrators).
Each position carries a three-year term, beginning January 1, 2026.
Board members attend and participate in board meetings (virtual and in-person), contribute to strategic planning and policy development, and support NCOPE’s mission to enhance O&P education and accreditation.
Nominations require a cover letter or resumé, a brief statement of interest, and up to two letters of recommendation.
