The sixth of seven people indicted for participation in a
multimillion-dollar Medicare fraud scheme in Florida involving
power wheelchairs has been sentenced to 87 months in prison, the
South Florida Business Journal reported December 19. Besides the
prison term, Chadd D. Miller has been ordered to pay $1.7 million
in restitution to Medicare. On release from prison, he also was
ordered to serve three years of supervised release.
