Ohio Willow Wood Partners with oandp.com

Ohio Willow Wood and oandp.com have joined forces to offer professionals in the orthotic and prosthetic industry additional services and conveniences. The partnership became official in late June 2005 when Ohio Willow Wood's prosthetic catalog went live inside the OPIE software tools.

Users of OPIE's Practice Management Suite and OPIE Lite Purchasing Management programs now have full access to Ohio Willow Wood's line of prosthetic products without leaving the software. The digital catalog features product descriptions and photos, specifications, supporting PDF documents such as fabrication instructions, and links to related products. Users can configure products in a natural way without dealing with individual SKUs and with the assurance of knowing that OPIE will warn them if a particular combination of options is unavailable or will result in shipping delays. They can then order those products with the click of a button and track orders and ordering trends within the software.

"We're excited about being an OPIE integrated supplier," commented Mark Ford, director of marketing at Ohio Willow Wood. "Technology continues to advance and a growing number of practitioners are outfitting their offices with technology that improves their practice, professional image and business efficiency. OPIE combines these two trends into a very customer-focused software product."

OPIE software is a product of oandp.com, which for the past 10 years has been providing internet and software tools designed solely for the O&P industry. They offer a new approach to practice management that is flexible enough to handle the challenges and changes in the healthcare market.

"Our goal is to provide our software customers functionality, convenience and the opportunity to move toward a digital office," shared Jon Shinn, director of operations at oandp.com. "Ohio Willow Wood's designation as an integrated supplier and the addition of their catalog to OPIE helps us offer users more depth of choice and more convenience while continuing to provide customers a smarter way to conduct their business."
