Early in February, Range of Motion Project (ROMP) a nonprofit
public charity, sent two volunteers and materials to Quito,
Ecuador, in support of a prosthetic rehabilitation project serving
almost 50 poverty-stricken individuals disabled by amputation. The
mission, “Prostheses for Ecuador” is an annual project sponsored by
the local Ecuadorian organization, Fundación Hermano Miguel
(FHM), which advocates for disability rights and provision of care
to the poor.
