Every August for the past 25 years, a camp for children who are
amputees, called Adventure Camp, has been held in Middleburg,
Virginia. For many years, the camp has been funded by the
Children’s Medical Center, Charlottesville, but the center has
notified the camp that they are not funding any outside groups this
year, said Ed Hicks, CO, CPed, camp treasurer.
