Tibion Corporation, Moffett Field, California, a developer of
active orthotic devices based on bionic technologies, announced
September 14 the initial closing of $3.5M in Series A financing.
Tibion plans to use the investment capital to accelerate
development activities of its bionic devices, notably the
PowerKnee, the company said. The round was led by Claremont Creek
Ventures, based in Oakland, California, with participation from
Saratoga Ventures, Saratoga, California.
