Ronelle Peterson has been promoted to director of marketing at PEL Supply Company, Cleveland, Ohio, company President Gary Mahler announced. In Peterson's new position, she will coordinate all marketing activities for the company including company catalogs, newsletters, product flyers, and the content and quality of the company's website. She also works closely with the product managers and is involved in trade show planning. Peterson has been with PEL since 1991. Prior to her recent promotion, she had been responsible for the creative design and production of the extensive collection of catalogs and price lists available from PEL Supply, including the current CD electronic catalog versions that are popular with many practitioners as an alternative to the printed catalogs. She developed the colorful original PEL Pediatric Catalog, an industry first, according to the company, which was the subject of an article in the Journal of the Association of Children's Prosthetic-Orthotic Clinics (JACPOC). Peterson's promotion was "well deserved and a step forward for PEL in the extremely important area of customer communications," said Mahler. "Quite possibly, no one in the company has the vast knowledge of the products and their options as Ronelle. She is a walking encyclopedia of O&P product offerings. PEL is quite fortunate indeed to have an employee with her product knowledge and technical expertise in marketing design and production." Prior to joining PEL Supply, Peterson worked in the financial industry. She earned a bachelor of science from Winona State University, Winona, Minnesota, and a master's degree from Cleveland State University, Cleveland, Ohio.
