Ossur Americas Promotes Three

Ossur Americas, Aliso Viejo, California, has promoted three employees to its prosthetic management team, the company recently announced.

Jeff Gilbert has been promoted to director of customer service, prosthetics. He began his career with Ossur nearly 12 years ago when he worked with Flex-Foot and has been an integral member of the customer service team since the acquisition by Ossur.

Mike Magill has been promoted to the director of product management, prosthetics. Magill has more than 25 years of experience in the healthcare industry in the areas of both sales and product management. He began his Ossur career as a regional sales manager for Generation II over three years ago and transitioned into product management a little over two years ago. He has played a pivotal role in the successful launch of the Ossur Bionic platform.

Tabi King has been promoted to the director of marketing, prosthetics. She joined Ossur two years ago after spending eight years as a director of marketing in a prosthetics patient-care facility and five years as the director of programs and development for the Challenged Athletes Foundation (CAF), where she currently sits on the Board of Directors. Since joining Ossur, King has played a critical role in the development and effective execution of all marketing related activities, according to the company.

"I am very proud to announce the promotions of these three individuals," said Tim McCarthy, vice president of sales and marketing. "They epitomize professional leadership, strategic expertise, and expert functional knowledge in an ever-changing and exciting industry. They have been and will continue to be, key functional team leaders who will provide the guidance system allowing Ossur to stay on our course toward providing value and creating greater partnerships to and with the customers we serve," he added.
