The Challenged Athletes Foundation and supporters from the New
York City area will hold a special fundraiser July18 at the
Waldorf-Astoria to raise money for–and awareness of–the special
needs of physically challenged athletes. A Celebration of Heroes,
Heart and Hope will feature moving presentations, celebrity guests,
and more than 25 world-class challenged athletes, many of whom will
be competing at the Accenture USAT PC Championship at the Nautica
New York City Triathlon later that week, CAF announced.
