Robert Kistenberg, MPH, CP, FAAOP, and John Craig, CPO, were
among the approximately 275 people in attendance at the “Uniting
Frontiers” forum that took place April 29 to May 2 in Antigua,
Guatemala, Central America. The forum, jointly organized by the
International Society for Prosthetics and Orthotics (ISPO) Panama
and medical rehabilitation professionals in Guatemala, was designed
to meet the educational and networking needs of healthcare
professionals throughout Latin America. The end goal of “Uniting
Frontiers” was to improve services provided to those with physical
disabilities in that area, Craig said.
