The Prosthetic Center, Houston, Texas, has been named to the
Houston Business Journal’s list of fastest growing
women-owned businesses for the second year in a row. The Prosthetic
Center, founded in 1991, is 100 percent women-owned and provides
custom prosthetics, myoelectric, custom orthotics, pedorthics, and
mastectomy services and products. Women make up just 12 percent of
all board-certified orthotists and prosthetists600 out of 5,000.
The Prosthetic Center is home to two female CPOs.
