A new Spanish language website devoted to orthotics and
prosthetics has been developed, according to Favio Montané, an
orthotist and prosthetist from Buenos Aires, Argentina. He is also
a professor of O&P at two universities, as well as vice
president of ISPO Argentina. Called “Sitios de Ortesis y
Prótesis en Español,” or “Orthotics and Prosthetics
Websites in Spanish,” the site classifies more than 475 O&P
websites around the world and provides a brief explanation of each.
Users can search for a site in one of four ways: by alphabetic
order; country; theme; or classification. Papers and a calendar of
important events are also included. Otto Bock Argentina is the
site’s first sponsor.
