The American Board for Certification in Orthotics, Prosthetics
& Pedorthics Inc. (ABC) and the Board for Orthotist/Prosthetist
Certification Inc. (BOC) announced October 22 that a settlement has been reached in ABC’s litigation against BOC, according to Tom
Derrick, director of public relations, marketing, and professional
discipline for ABC. The legal action concerned the protection of
ABC’s CPed certification mark for certified pedorthists.
