Thomas F. Kirk will succeed Ivan R. Sabel as chief executive
officer for Hanger Orthopedic Group, Bethesda, Maryland. The
company announced that its board of directors unanimously approved
the recommendation of Sabel, current chairman and chief executive
officer for Hanger, for a change in leadership. Sabel will remain
chairman of Hanger’s board, and Kirk, currently the company’s chief
operating officer, will maintain his title of president when the
change takes place March 1.
