BridgePoint Medical LLC announced on June 17 that it has
acquired Asheville Orthotic Prosthetic Center Inc. (AOPC). AOPC
owners Greg Straub, CPO, and Steve Hagler, CO, will stay on as
owner-operators. Owners Andrew Adkisson and Emily Wilder will
remain with the company in other capacities, according to
BridgePoint. Adkisson will oversee the company’s central
fabrication operations, and Wilder will manage its North Carolina
facilities. According to a BridgePoint press release, AOPC will
transition without interruption, retaining its name and locations
in Asheville, Hendersonville, and Charlotte, North Carolina. AOPC’s
Charlotte facility operates under the name of Charlotte Orthotic
Prosthetic Center (COPC).
