Langer Inc., Deer Park, New York, has sold Bi-Op Laboratories,
Saint-Charles-Borromée, Quebec, for about $75,000 less than it
paid for it in 2003, according to the OneMedPlace news service. It
was purchased by Raynald Henry, Bi-Op’s general manager, and a
group of investors for about $2,125,000 in cash. OneMedPlace
reported that Langer, “acquired Bi-Op in 2003 to gain access to
additional markets and complementary product lines” for about $2.2
million in cash and stock, including transaction costs.
