OrthoCare Innovations, Washington DC, gave a
poster presentation at the 25th anniversary celebration of the
National Institutes of Health (NIH) Small Business Innovation
Research (SBIR) program, July 22-23, in Atlanta, Georgia. OrthoCare
was invited to present as an SBIR grantee whose grant results
showed particular merit. According to OrthoCare, its chief
technology officer, David Boone, CP, MPH, PhD, presented
OrthoCare’s ComPAS (Computerized Prosthesis Alignment System), the
research and product development of which was funded through grants
from the NIH National Center for Medical Rehabilitation
Research.
