A team of researchers from the University of Evansville (UE),
Indiana, have identified a potential link between knee injuries and
the onset of early osteoarthritis (OA)a development that could lead
to new, orthotics-based treatments to delay knee OA. The research
study was focused on the connection between rupture of the anterior
cruciate ligament (ACL) and the early development of knee OA.
