Needham Elias “Eli” Harrell CO, LO, passed away on April 15 in Grant, Florida. He was 69. His son, Kevin Harrell, CO, wrote to the OANDP-L listserv that he “dedicated nearly 50 years to O&P patient care and enjoyed going to work every day. He worked up until the day he was just physically unable to do it. He loved spending quality time with his family and also the outdoors, especially in his garden.” floridatoday.com reported that he passed away at home, surrounded by his family, and that he is survived by Joann Harrell, his wife of 49 years; his son, Kevin, of Tampa, Florida; his daughter, Charlotte Nelson of Grant; and his grandchildren, Katelyn and Kaley of Grant, and Brandon, Ethan, and Austin of Tampa.
