Orthocare Innovations, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, has appointed Jerry James as director of manufacturing.
According to Orthocare, James has worked for more than 20 years as both a manufacturing-engineering manager and project manager for global manufacturers of heavy industrial equipment, high-tech products, and pharmaceuticals. He has been responsible for supporting manufacturing operations in a variety of highly regulated fields, ensuring compliance with state, federal, and international regulatory agencies. He previously served as director of manufacturing engineering for Astellas Pharma Technologies, Tokyo, Japan, the manufacturer of Flomax.
James holds a bachelor of science degree in industrial engineering from the University of Oklahoma, Norman, where he focused on manufacturing technology and ergonomics. James will serve as a member of Orthocare’s senior management team at its headquarters in Oklahoma City.
