Ability Prosthetics & Orthotics, headquartered in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, is scheduled to open a full-time, full-service patient care facility in York Pennsylvania this month. Ability has now opened five facilities in as many years. The York facility will be located across the street from the Wellspan York Hospital at the corner of the York College Campus.
“Opening the York, Pennsylvania, office allows us to meet the needs of our growing patient population,” explained Ability CEO and founder Jeffrey Brandt, CPO. He stated that the office opening would complete the company’s initial five-year growth plan and give the company good regional positioning.
According to Ability, Brandt plans to be the primary operator of the new facility. Brandt has more than 16 years of experience to the York region and is a graduate of the orthotic and prosthetic programs at Northwestern University, Chicago, Illinois.
