Rodin4D, Le Haillan, France, a manufacturer of CAD/CAM technology for orthotics and prosthetics use, has signed a partnership agreement with the Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU), Wanchai, Hong Kong.
The agreement was signed during the Asian Prosthetic and Orthotic Scientific Meeting (APOSM) 2009, held at PolyU in August. Rodin4D provided 15 student licenses to the university’s department of health technology and informatics.
“The partnership between Rodin4D and the Polytechnic University of Hong Kong will allow a sharing and an enrichment of knowledge for the orthotic and prosthetic students by giving them access to a revolutionary CADCAM system,” said Mickael Guimberteau, Rodin4D international trade manager.
