The PrimeCare O&P Network has announced it will bring its 12th Annual PrimeFare East Scientific Symposium curriculum of educational offerings to Nashville on June 4-5, 2010. The event will feature educational tracks devoted to prosthetics, orthotics, and pedorthics, plus a newly added medical track/administrative management track and the return of the technical track. PrimeCare is calling for presenters’ abstracts now, with a deadline of March 12, 2010.
This year’s symposium will feature keynote speaker, Bonnie Williams, RN, director of infection control, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Memphis, Tennessee. Williams will focus on ways to ensure that attendees’ practices meet all guidelines for infection control with respect to patients, practitioners, and other staff members. Williams, who has been in her position for more than 30 years, has spoken on this and other topics to medical professionals worldwide.
In addition to the 15-hour CPed track, PrimeFare’s prosthetics, orthotics, medical/administrative management, and technical curriculums will each offer a total of 12 hours of CEU credits.
