Espiritu Design, Salt Lake City, Utah, has won a Red Dot Product Design Award for its work on the Fillauer Element™ prosthetic foot system. According to the red dot Award website, “designers and manufacturers from 57 countries…submitted products for consideration.”
The award will be presented at a gala awards ceremony on July 5 in Essen, Germany.
The Red Dot Design Award-one of the world’s largest design competitions-was founded in 1955 by German company Design Zentrum Nordhein Westfalen, Essen, Germany.
The Element was previously recognized by the Utah Arts Council’s Design Arts Utah 2009 competition.
