The Orthotic & Prosthetic Assistance Fund (OPAF) and the First Clinics has announced its annual call for nominees to its board of directors. According to OPAF, between one and three seats on the board are currently available. Board members may serve a one-, two-, or three-year term and are required to attend at least one of the organization’s two annual face-to-face board meetings, which are held in conjunction with the annual meetings of the American Orthotic and Prosthetic Association (AOPA) and American Academy of Orthotists and Prosthetists (the Academy). Additionally, directors are expected to be highly involved in the ongoing work of OPAF and the First Clinics with adaptive sports, recreation, and fundraising.
