Otto Bock HealthCare, Minneapolis, Minnesota, has promoted Todd Anderson, CP, FAAOP, to the newly created position of vice president of business services. Anderson was formerly the vice president of professional and clinical services at Otto Bock and was responsible for the delivery of hands-on education experiences, including product courses, general education, technical support, and specialized consultation. According to Otto Bock, Anderson will retain oversight of professional and clinical services in his new role, but he will take on the additional responsibilities of overseeing cooperative care and the Innovation Center, as well as fabrication services.
“Todd’s leadership and vision has been a continuous asset to Otto Bock since he joined the company over ten years ago,” said Brad Ruhl, president and CEO of Otto Bock U.S. HealthCare. “He has played an integral role in Otto Bock’s success, and we look forward to his valued contributions in his new position.”
Anderson received a bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin-LaCrosse and his prosthetic education at Century College, White Bear Lake, Minnesota. Before joining Otto Bock in 1999, he practiced at Northwestern Artificial Limb and Brace in Minneapolis; ACME Labs in Green Bay, Wisconsin; and Shriner’s Hospital for Children in Minneapolis. He became a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthotists and Prosthetists (the Academy) in 2001.
