Otto Bock HealthCare, Duderstadt, Germany, announced the appointment of Gaurav Mishra as vice president of sales. He will lead global sales initiatives at Otto Bock’s world headquarters.
Mishra, a former Indian Air Force fighter pilot, holds a master of business administration (MBA) degree from the University of Edinburgh, Scotland. Prior to joining Otto Bock, he was responsible for international business development for Touch Bionics, Livingston, Scotland. Mishra brings to Otto Bock a background of international sales experience and business development.
“Gaurav’s extensive sales experience and his knowledge of the prosthetic industry make him ideal for the position of vice president of sales,” President and CEO of Otto Bock North America Bert Harman said. “His attention to and emphasis on customer service is also significant, and we’re pleased to have him as part of the Otto Bock team.”
