The Amputee Coalition of America (ACA) has announced that Ossur Americas, Foothill Ranch, California, has become one of its national Gold Sponsors for 2010. The sponsorship includes a $30,000 contribution.
“Ossur is proud to be an Amputee Coalition of America Gold Sponsor,” said Mahesh Mansukhani, president of Ossur Americas. “ACA provides unsurpassed education and support to individuals with limb loss and their family members, while simultaneously tackling the difficult but critically important issue of limb loss prevention. Equally important, ACA has driven significant legislative change with its prosthetic parity campaign at both the state and federal levels. Through these efforts, ACA has increased people’s access to appropriate prosthetic care, which is consistent with Ossur’s goal of promoting life without limitations for people with limb loss.”
“The Amputee Coalition of America is honored to welcome such a prestigious company as Ossur to our national Gold Sponsorship level, and we thank them for the impact their contribution will make this year,” said Kendra Calhoun, the ACA’s president and CEO. “Ossur’s commitment to increasing mobility, reducing pain, and improving the quality of life aligns with the Amputee Coalition’s mission and goals… We look forward to Ossur’s partnership.”
