Freedom Innovations, Irvine, California, has hired five key personnel for its new European headquarters in Enschede, The Netherlands, which is slated to begin commercial operations in Austria, France, and Germany on April 4, 2011.
Knut Muhl
Appointed the center’s clinical trainer, Marcus Walda brings prosthetic experience as a product manager and a clinical trainer from the Zeulenroda, Germany-based Bauerfeind Prosthetics.
Eduard Schönewolf
Knut Muhl, a prosthetist and former entrepreneur, and Eduard Schönewolf join the staff as area sales managers in Germany. Schönewolf brings more than 20 years of industry experience, including 14 years as a regional sales manager.
Christophe Simonnot
Christophe Simonnot, a technical sales professional, joins the team as the area sales manager for France. He formerly held positions at Össur, Reykjavik, Iceland, and Bauerfeind.
Maarje Gerwers
Maartje Gerwers has been appointed the office manager for Freedom Innovations Europe.
