Anna Avakian
Anna Avakian, CPO, has joined SPS, Alpharetta, Georgia, as director of clinical and technical services. She will assist SPS sales managers and customers with clinical education on products, as well as selection and fitting techniques on patients.
Formerly the lead prosthetist for the Hanger Ivan R. Sabel Foundation Clinic in Deschapelles, Haiti, Avakian has a bachelor’s degree in physics from St. Olaf College, Northfield, Minnesota, and completed her O&P education at Northwestern University, Chicago, Illinois.
“Anna’s unique clinical skills and dedication to teamwork will allow her to quickly assimilate on the SPS team and provide meaningful assistance to SPS customers,” Ron May, president and COO of SPS, said.
