The fourth European Championships of the International Standing Amputee Hockey Federation (ISIHF) will be held at the Zemgale Ice Arena in Jelgava, Latvia, May 11-14.
The tournament, hosted by the Latvian Amputee Hockey Association and supported by the Latvian Paralympic Committee and the Latvian Ice Hockey Federation, will bring together the national teams from Finland, Latvia, and Russia, and the ISIHF World Team.
Inclusion of the World Team to the list of participants was introduced in 2010 during the ISIHF World Championships in Montreal, Canada. The World Team comprises players from ISIHF National Member Associations, and from countries where Standing Hockey is not yet widely practiced.
