The American Board for Certification in Orthotics, Prosthetics & Pedorthics (ABC) has donated $10,000 to the Amputee Coalition’s Bridge to Ability Fund in memory of Todd F. Anderson, CP, FAAOP. Anderson passed away unexpectedly last August. The funds serve to honor Anderson’s compassion and involvement in serving the amputee population, according to an ABC press release.
The Bridge to Ability Fund provides scholarships for new amputees to attend the Amputee Coalition National Conference-the next to be held June 2-4, 2011, in Kansas City, Missouri. The scholarships provide for full conference registration and lodging expenses.
