Mike Schuch, CPO, FAAOP, FISPO, has joined the SPS management team as director of clinical and technical services. In his new position, Schuch will supervise and steward SPS staff practitioners, teach on various topics, and help extend and formulate the SPS education programming content.
Prior to joining SPS, Schuch served in numerous educational and professional positions within the O&P profession, including vice president and director of clinical services and assistant clinical professor at Duke University Medical Center, Durham, North Carolina. He has served as president, past-president, and as a board member of the American Academy of Orthotists and Prosthetists (the Academy), and is a former editor in chief and chairman of the Journal of Prosthetics and Orthotics (JPO).
“Mike’s vast skills and experience as both an educator and administrator will allow him to provide significant benefit to SPS customers,” said Ron May, president and COO of SPS.
