Advanced Arm Dynamics (AAD), headquartered in Redondo Beach, California, has announced the addition of Julian Wells, CPO, to its upper-limb clinical team. He will be a clinical specialist at the company’s Midwest Center of Excellence, Waterloo, Iowa.
“We are focused on continually building and strengthening our national clinical team,” said John Miguelez, CP, president and senior clinical director. “Adding skilled practitioners like Julian further ensures our commitment to offering patients superior, comprehensive prosthetic care.”
Previously, Wells spent four and a half years at Nebraska Orthotic & Prosthetic Services, Omaha, and worked there an additional two years after the practice was acquired by Hanger Prosthetics & Orthotics, headquartered in Austin, Texas.
He studied mechanical engineering and biomechanics at the University of Nebraska, Lincoln, and received a bachelor of science in exercise science in 2003. He completed the orthotics and prosthetics practitioner program at Century College, White Bear Lake, Minnesota, and became an American Board for Certification in Orthotics, Prosthetics & Pedorthics (ABC)-certified prosthetist in 2005.
“I am tremendously excited to be part of this clinical team and to have the opportunity to spend more time focusing on each patient’s unique situation,” Wells said. “An environment like this, that fosters collaboration among practitioners, leads us to the best solutions.”
