Human Intelligence Technology (HI-Tech), headquartered in Jackson, Tennessee, has appointed Frank B. Caruso, CO, LO, to its clinical and management team as the director of orthotics and operations.
Caruso completed his bachelor of science degree in health and physical education at Averett University, Danville, Virginia. He received his orthotics training at the Northwestern University Prosthetic-Orthotic Center (NUPOC), Chicago, Illinois, in 1982.
Caruso began his career as a staff orthotist in Bethesda, Maryland. In 1989, he moved to the Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, area where he managed several orthotic and prosthetic practices. He was also a staff consulting orthotist to numerous wound centers in the greater Pennsylvania area and an instructor for the Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine, Philadelphia, pedorthics program.
“Mr. Caruso’s 30 years of orthotic experience, including management, make him a real asset to our clinical team,” said Ramesh Dubey, CPO, president of Human Technology. “I am confident in his ability to guide our orthotic patients towards greater levels of activity and independence.”
