The Prosthetics Outreach Foundation (POF) announced that Winfried Danke has resigned from his position as executive director. He led the foundation for the past eleven years, overseeing the growth and program implementation of POF’s overseas sites.
Mary Luft Gladhart, current board president, assumed the position of interim executive director on July 2, 2012. She will temporarily resign as board president and Robert Veith, MD, former board director and current POF medical director, will temporarily serve as acting board president. A search committee has been formed and is actively engaged to find a permanent successor to the executive director position.
