Ottobock, Minneapolis, Minnesota, announced the promotion of two of its employees.
Matt Swiggum has been promoted to vice president of mobility solutions where he will continue to support the rehabilitation market with investments and strong leadership.
“Strong growth was seen under Matt’s two-and-a half-year leadership as business unit director for mobility solutions and his new position is reflective of the increasingly prominent role of this business unit in the company’s future,” said Brad Ruhl, president and CEO of Ottobock.
Kathy Schuerman has been promoted to the position of executive director of finance.
“Kathy has an outstanding ability to provide exceptional financial guidance in the overall development of all of our US HealthCare business segments,” said Ruhl. “As director of finance she used incisive leadership to directly contribute to our accelerated growth and this new position reflects our confidence in the dedication and commitment she brings to executing future growth strategies.”
Both Swiggum and Schuerman were also added to Ottobock’s regional management team.
