Mary Free Bed Rehabilitation Hospital, Grand Rapids, Michigan, has announced that Patrick Logan, CPO, has been appointed the new vice president of operations and development for the Mary Free Bed Orthotics & Prosthetics program.
Logan has served in O&P as the division supervisor of prosthetics/orthotics at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia; as branch manager with Hanger Prosthetics & Orthotics, Havertown, Pennsylvania; as North American prosthetics product manager with CAMP Healthcare (now known as Trulife); and as the National Orthotics and Prosthetics Company (NOPCO) clinical coordinator at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.
Logan became interested in the O&P profession after undergoing a transtibial amputation. He has been published in a variety of professional journals, provided expert analysis and consultation to law firms, and was quoted in various publications.
“We are very excited to have Patrick on board to lead our orthotics and prosthetics corporation,” said Mary Free Bed CEO Kent Riddle. “His experience in this field covers a broad spectrum-patient, practitioner, manufacturer, manager, and educator. His addition to our team will better enable us to restore hope and freedom to our patients and families.”
