Robert McKibben Miller passed away on September 26 at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Ann Arbor, Michigan. He was 84.
According to an online obituary, Miller attended the University of Wisconsin, leaving early to join the United States Air Force in 1949; he served his country for four years before going into the public sector. Miller enjoyed a successful career as a businessman where he contributed to the global growth of CAMP International, Jackson, Michigan, until his retirement in 1989. During his tenure at CAMP, he served in a variety of roles and led expansion of the business into Europe, Latin America, and Asia Pacific before retiring as executive vice president. Miller was well known for his love of life, family, friends, and food, and he spent his later years traveling extensively in search of all.
Miller is survived by his wife of 26 years, Colleen; his children, Tarra (Bob) Gembarski, Kip (Cathy) Miller, and Kimberley DeCaire-Elias; three grandchildren, Nicole, Christian, and Madison; and two great-grandchildren Alexa, and Ariana.
