The National Commission on Orthotic and Prosthetic Education (NCOPE) announced that the residency site application renewal fee will increase to $600, effective January 1, 2013.
The NCOPE board of directors voted on and passed a phase-in plan of fee increases for all accreditation services at a meeting held in July 2011. This is the final phase of that plan. Resources and expenses for the review process of residency site applications have continued to increase over the past eight years necessitating an increase in the application fee, NCOPE said.
