American Orthopedics Manufacturing, New York, New York, has announced that Teresa Hamm, CFom, has been named director of marketing and education. She will be responsible for establishing and implementing national O&P education programs. She will also lead the promotion of the Revolution, the company’s new AFO, and will work with the universities and facilities conducting case studies to bring the information to medical professionals.
Hamm began her career in the healthcare industry as a sales manager and mastectomy fitter before entering manufacturing in 2003. She has volunteered on various committees of the American Board for Certification in Orthotics, Prosthetics & Pedorthics (ABC).
“Teresa brings almost 12 years of industry marketing and sales experience, making her more than qualified to handle the competitive challenges of our environment,” said Chris Gizzi, CO, chief operating officer. “Her experience in various roles with multiple customers and referral sources throughout the country gives her the unique ability to approach our changing marketplace from different perspectives to reach future corporate goals.”
