OPAF and The First Clinics announced that it has received the United States Tennis Association (USTA) Wheelchair Tennis Grant for 2013. The $1,500 grant is to be used to promote both wheelchair and adaptive tennis.
“Our plans are to use the funds in our new home state of North Carolina to host a wheelchair and adaptive coaches workshop to broaden the knowledge of tennis instructors in the Carolina area and expand both wheelchair and adaptive tennis,” said OPAF Executive Director Robin Burton.
