The International Society for Prosthetics and Orthotics (ISPO) and Leipziger Messe have signed a cooperation agreement to continue to work together to organize the exhibition that accompanies the ISPO World Congress. The agreement was signed February 4 at the opening of the 14th ISPO World Congress in Hyderabad, India. Among the signatories were current ISPO President Jan Geertzen, MD, PhD, his successor Bengt Söderberg, CPO, and, on behalf of Leipziger Messe, Leipzig, Germany, Martin Buhl-Wagner, spokesperson for the executive board, and Klaus Ernst, executive director, Trade Fairs.
“We are convinced that Leipziger Messe is the right partner for our upcoming Congress and look forward to working together on securing a successful exhibition in 2015,” said Geertzen.
The 15th ISPO World Congress is scheduled to take place in Lyon, France, June 22-25, 2015. The World Congress will now be held on a two-year cycle instead of a three-year cycle.
