The Board of Certification/Accreditation International (BOC) won a bronze Stevie® Award for Sales & Customer Service in the healthcare, pharmaceuticals, and related industries division, which was announced at the seventh annual Stevie Awards ceremony in Las Vegas, Nevada, on February 25.
The Stevie Awards recognize achievements of call center, customer service, and sales professionals worldwide. BOC was recognized for its exceptional customer service department.
More than 1,100 entries were submitted, an increase of 10 percent from the previous year. BOC received the award because of changes it made to improve the customer experience after a year-long business and internal process review, according to a BOC press release. Following the review, BOC improved engagement with its certificants and accredited facilities by providing them with a web portal to apply for and manage their credentials online, reducing call hold times, offering exams throughout the year rather than during brief testing windows, and delivering timely facility accreditation determinations.
