Ottobock, Duderstadt, Germany, has won three 2013 red dot Product Design Awards in the life sciences and medicine category for its Patella Pro knee orthosis, 3S80 Fitness Prosthesis for amateur athletes, and the 1C63 Triton Low Profile prosthetic foot.
The product design of each of the 4,662 entries was judged by an international committee using various criteria that included functionality, degree of innovation, and the quality of the design.
The awards ceremony will be held on July 1, in Essen, Germany.
