The Pacific Rim (Pac Rim) 2014 Prosthetic/Orthotic Conference has called for lecture and workshop abstracts. The conference theme is Learning beyond Our Horizons; it is scheduled for January 26-29 at the Waikoloa Beach Marriott Resort and Spa, Waikoloa, Hawaii. The abstract submission deadline is July 1, 2013.
Lecture submissions on topics related to prosthetics, orthotics, engineering, medicine, physical therapy, occupational therapy, and nursing are requested. Notification letters will be mailed within six weeks after the submission date.
The cost to present product and technique workshops is $350, subject to approval by the program committee. However, major conference sponsors may submit workshop abstracts for consideration at no additional fee.
The Pac Rim Conference is sponsored by the U.S. International Society for Prosthetics and Orthotics (US ISPO), in cooperation with The O&P EDGE.
